Rules and Regulations
- Every student must possess a copy of the School Almanac which must be brought to School daily and followed carefully. No child is allowed to tear any page from the Almanac. Breach of this rule will be dealt with severely at the discretion of the Principal, even leading to dismissal. A duplicate copy will be issued on payment of a fine of Rs.100/-.
- Parents must ensure that the children bring this School Almanac to school everyday.
- Parents should see that their wards follow the rules and regulations of the school.
- Every student shall have an Identity Card which he/she shall carefully carry with him/her always, as a testimonial of bonafide. This Identidy Card shall be issued by the School office and is to be renewed every year.
- Parents are requested to avoid requesting leave for their wards as far as possible. In case of absence for special reasons, leave application should be sent in written prior to the date. In case of sickness, leave letter should be produced on the day the student attends the school.
Producing medical certificate is essential in case of long absence.
- Strictly avoid taking students out during school hours, unless its an emergency.
- Parents who want to take their wards home during working hours (in case of any emergency) should come in person and get permission from Principal by submitting a
written request duly signed. Parents must not send relatives or strangers to school to pick up their wards
- During emergency situation, the person who comes to pick the child must bring an authorization letter. The parents must inform about the same to the school office over phone.
- Parents are requested not to send an obviously sick child to school, even during examination. Producing medical certificate from the Doctor will suffice.
- Parents have the responsibility to notify the school when a student suffers from ailments like severe allergies, diabetes, heart diseases, fits, any abnormality, etc.
- Late coming to school is a breach of discipline. Parents should see that their child comes to school on time.
- A child who is habitually late or without uniform, does not bring text and exercise books or neglects study and does not abide by the School rules, will be asked to leave the School. A
record of such breaches is maintained in the School.
- Irregular attendance, habitual want of leave application, obscenity in words or acts, insubordination to teachers and any kind of cheating or serious misconduct, or any habit
or behavior objectionable to the good tone of the school even outside the school premises is
sufficient reason for dismissal of a student.
- Parents should check and sign their children's School Almanac everyday for homework and other instructions.
- Students should follow the courses of study, conform to the regulations of the school, obey promptly all the directions of the teachers, be kind and helpful to their peers, follow neat
and clean habits and most importantly avoid use of bad language.
- It is the parent's responsibility to notify in writing of the change of address and telephone number. The school is required to keep an up-date record of such information.
- All communication sent from the school should be preserved. No copies will be given at any point of time.
- Any communication with the school should be in written form. Verbal communication will not be entertained.
- Parents should affix label on lunch bag and personal belongings with their child's name. This will help the school to return lost items. All the same, in the event of loss of any
articles, the school will not entertain any complaint.
- Any damage done in class or about the premises by the student must be paid for by the parent/guardian. The decision of the Principal regarding the amount will be final. In
addition, disciplinary action may be taken by the school administration.
- Parents are strictly forbidden from meeting or speaking to the teachers directly without taking prior appointment and without any other school official present.
- Any communication (request or complaint) made by the parents should be addressed to the Principal and not to the Class Teacher or Subject Teacher. All correspondence from the School to the parents should go through the Principal.
- Parents are requested not to seek interviews with the Principal unnecessarily. Rather, they should periodically scrutinize the pages in the child's Almanac showing Principal's remarks, Absence Record, Class and Subject Teacher's Remarks to see whether any matter requires attention.
- Students/ Parents are not allowed to present gifts, individual or collective, to teachers.
- Students are expected to take part in all extra curricular activities of the school as part of their Civil training and no one will be exempted.
- To acquire a greater facility in the study of English, pupils are advised to speak English even in their private conversation. Failure to speak in English in the school premises may be
liable fora fine.
- If there is any Government declared holiday mentioned in any local channel or mentioned in the newspaper, please consider it as a holiday for our school.
